HOLIDAY
2011
A
warm welcome to our Fall 2011 Newsletter. For those of you who do not know who
we are, we are the parent body for the below listed Spiritualist churches, our
auxiliaries. Their information is provided for your convenience and we encourage
you to join us in what I believe you will find to be a very unique and sacred
experience.
Our
annual convention was convened November 4, 5 and 6 with pre-convention meetings
of the executive staff and our ministerial team, followed by a banquet replete
with entertainment again provided by Rick Walsh. Raffles, a silent auction and,
on Saturday our Expo rounded out the week-end events, which was a success. I know
that those who went home with items from the silent auction and raffles will be
very pleased with their new acquisitions.
We
congratulate Reverend Mary DiGiovanni, incumbent VP, who was re-elected to that
seat. Our incumbent Treasurer, Richard O'Brien, also retained his seat. New to
the Board this year is Trustee Reverend Ronald P. Monroe. The behind-the-scenes
work of the Board sets the tenor of the organization and its churches. Each member
of the Board contributes significantly, and with the guidance from Divine Source,
helps to forge our future. We should express gratitude to all our Board members
for their hard work, dedication and administration both past and present.
It
is our sincerest hope that you will have a wonderful Holiday season. In your celebration
we would be honored if you would share some of your time with us, in whatever
locality you find yourself. May the Divine Intelligence guide you and may your
2012 be all you hope it to be. Take a chance to review the respective websites
below for holiday programs and activities.
Respectfully,
Reverend
Ronald P. Monroe
